Wow. So I’ve been terrible at updating this. I have a slew of pictures coming today, which I know you will all enjoy.</p> <p>First things first: I love my roommate. Yes, like any person you’re living with you have your “uh omg” moments, but all in all, I got super lucky. She’s very sweet and we get along really well. Her Mom is coming in this weekend and taking us all kinds of places like to see <i>Wicked</i> (SO EXCITED!).</p> <p>So, let’s talk about this amazing city. Every where I go I find something new, something different. This city is a breath of fresh air that welcomes you in with open arms. On every hill you get a different breathtaking view. There’s so much going on and so many different people. It’s amazing. I will note that if I get “Oh my god, she said y’all! How adorable/cute is she??” one more time I might puke. ;)</p> <p>I will admit I miss home often. Some days more than others, but so it goes. I miss the familarities, while at the same time I love the unknown here. For the first time I am missing one of my little loves’ birthdays, but when making this decision I had to come to terms with the fact that they are my little sister and brother and as much as I love them, I was never going to be able to be there for everything.</p> <p>I have a few trips planned for the fall. Thanks to Southwest I am going many places for very cheap. I’m using a refund to go to Denver in October. Texas, Alabama, and Tennessee are all booked for Thanksgiving. I can already tell it’s going to be an exhausting week. I have Christmas and New Years all booked up for Texas and Florida. I won’t be there for Shyanne’s birthday either, but at least I’ll be there right before and for Christmas.</p> <p>I’ve never been away from home for this long. I went to camps and visited my Dad on Holidays like any other normal kid from a divorced home, but never have I been so long without my family. Even in college I managed to make it home more than most. It’s so weird to think that it’ll be months before I see them again. Being here has made me realized how much I needed to leave because of how much I’ve changed. Everyone changes, this I know; I just never realized how much of a different person I am. I have always longed for something new, but I never realized I don’t want to be one place too long, at least not just yet. Everyone in my life is settling down (and I know if you ask anyone I grew up with they would tell you that they thought I would be married and president of the PTA by now) but I’ve come to realize that I don’t want to settle. For anyone or in any place. I want to take in as much as I can and I want to learn everything about me before I settle into something.</p> <p>I’ve decided my next stop in life (and in a few years) is the North East Coast.
